RISK WARNINGS

Risk warnings

Before you start with one of our tours, we would like to ask you to read our risk warnings.

1.

OUR SERVICES

We have made it our mission to offer wheelchair users a chance to explore the Alps on their own and in a beautiful environment. Therefore, we try out the routes ourselves, put as many details as possible on the Internet and offer our readers the opportunity to explore the beautiful world of the Alps on their own. Should this not be possible on your own, we will point this out in the trip descriptions. Often a small difficulty can be mastered with an accompanying person and the trip can be carried out without problems. We hope that the paths of the Alps will gradually open up to wheelchair users.

2.

Potential changes

Unfortunately, our offer is also a snapshot. We record the trip information for a specific day – namely, when we did the trips ourselves. Due to the external circumstances, however, something may have changed meanwhile. These can be, for example, weather-related influences, but also interventions by forestry, the farmers‘ association or the respective communities. Therefore, we would like to inform all our readers to check the respective release date before starting the tour.

3.

Limitation of liability

The contents of this website have been compiled with the greatest care possible. However, the provider of the website accepts no liability for the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the content provided. Use of the website and its contents is at the user’s own risk. The customer undertakes all activities exclusively and unrestrictedly at his own risk. Since our trips are described as self-drive tours, each website user who tries a trip is responsible for their own technical aids and actions.

4.

Levels of difficulty

The levels of difficulty described were created, described and tested based on our experience. However, these are only an indication for the user for better orientation. If a tour should not correspond to the indicated degree of difficulty or if this is perceived differently by a user of the website, the operator of the website cannot be held liable for this, as it was expressly pointed out that the classification of the degrees of difficulty is a personal snapshot.

5.

Hints in the trip descriptions

The information in the trip descriptions has been researched with the greatest possible care. Nevertheless, they are only an indication, as local conditions can change at any time. Thus, the instructions should be considered as recommendations.

6.

Before setting out for a trip

Before starting the trips, each website user is independently responsible for checking his resources, the route and external conditions such as the weather, etc. If it turns out that there is a risk associated with doing the trip, the trip should not be tried. In any case, the aids/devices should be equipped with off-road tyres and an appropriate profile. Enough food/clothing/drinks are packed and care is taken that the temperatures do not harm the body. If necessary, blankets etc. are to be packed.
Likewise, a means of communication should be present, since in the mountains there are not always other persons to be found to possibly provide assistance.
However, we believe that our readers are mature individuals who are best able to assess their security needs.

7.

External links

This website contains links to third-party websites (“external links”). This website is subject to the liability of the respective operators. When the external links were first established, the provider checked the external content for possible violations of the law. No legal violations could be found at this point in time. The provider has no influence whatsoever on the current and future design and content of the linked pages. The inclusion of external links does not mean that the provider adopts the content behind the reference or link as his own. Constant control of the external links is not reasonable for the provider without concrete evidence of legal violations. However, if we become aware of any legal infringements, such external links will be deleted immediately.

As you may have noticed, we are currently in the process of translating our website and adding more languages. Since this is technically somewhat complex, not all pages are currently available in all languages or only in one language. Translation by an AI (artificial intelligence) is available.

Due to the installation of the translation technology in the website, some formatting has unfortunately broken. We try to restore these as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding!
