Trip description
From the parking lot at Rollepass to Baita Segantini
Directly at the Passo Rolle, the route begins along the pleasant and panoramic gravel road, which climbs in this first section; soon after, you enjoy a wonderful view to the lush green pastures. If one continues to the right, one reaches with relatively little time the Hut Capanna Cervino. From here on the trail becomes more demanding, even if the surface remains reasonably easy to ride. The gradient is consistently between 8 % and 10 %. With a few extra breaks to enjoy the priceless views alone, the trail is pleasant to ride. In a good hour you reach Baita Segantini (2,200 m), the preferred panoramic terrace on the Pale di San Martino and his highly praised Cimon, which is also known as Matterhorn of the Dolomites is called. Green meadows and a picturesque pond underline the idyllic landscape.
Possible expansion:
From the Baita Sengatini you can reach the magnificent valley Val Venegia descend and up to the Malga Venegia hike. From there, a bus also goes back in the direction of Paneveggio (but not back to Passo Rolle). This hike has more the Difficulty level Medium and was still untested.

Directions
Coming from San Martino di Castrozza, the trail begins just before the Rolle Pass hill. There are no disabled parking spaces available. It is best to park along the Rollepass state road 50.

Explanation
Well-maintained path with firm ground and only a slight gradient of 8 % to 10 %. When using a towing device, an escort is generally not necessary.

Tested:
- Baita Segantini (2,200 m): There is a short ramp and then up 4 small steps to enter the bar; up more steps to enter the restaurant.
- Rifugio Capanna Cervino (2,080 m): There is a gravel ramp and a small step down to enter the room.

In the Malga Rolle directly at the Rollepass there is a barrier-free WC available.
