Ableism?
Not so long ago, #Wunderkrabbe (have a look at her instragram account) has written two great posts about Ableism. Ableism stands for the prejudices that people with disabilities face and for discrimination, paternalism and unequal treatment.
This has also made us think and we have searched the Internet for research. We have always had spells/quotes/anecdotes on the way, which we now like to share with you.
Every Thursday we will post something here that is directly related to Ableism, disability or motivation for daily life.
At the start comes a saying that often comes across on the net – whether as a T-shirt print or on other accessories.
In English, it would mean something like this:
I am totally sensitive. Except in my legs!
